Around Nov-Dec, the migration of wildebeest starts arriving in the Ngorongoro Conservation area, lies in the Southern part of Serengeti. This is also known as the ‘toto’ time, meaning calving season. These herds of wildebeest stay put for couple of months & welcome the young ones in the wild world and gain strength, before they start their annual migration towards Maasai Mara.
Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool as you enjoy the animal sighting. As the day comes to an end, head back to sleep in Farm of Dreams.
Relish breakfast at the camp & check-out from the camp. Head to Ngorongoro Crater, home to the Big Five – lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos – as well as other animals such as zebras, wildebeest, and hyenas. The landscapes in the crater are breathtaking, with rolling hills and a large lake in the center.
