Itinerary

Day 1

Plan your international flight in a way that you arrive early morning at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (Nairobi). It is always convenient to take a night flight, especially when it’s a long haul one. A member of our pride will meet & greet you at the airport.

Your captain will take you through a short briefing while you unwind in a café to relish some breakfast and a kick of coffee to get you grooving. Now that your body is nourished let’s feed onto that dopamine rush and head towards Mara.

Arrive at Basecamp Mara just in time to relax & relish lunch in the dining area watching over the Talek river. After a good meal & bit of relaxation, you can head out for a late afternoon game drive until the park shuts off. That’s the luxury of having a private safari, as you can decide on timings at your discretion except for the ones enforced by the reserve authorities.

Day 2

Our team has laid out a most inclusive plan to offer the best of game drives in Maasai Mara. As you are at the luxury of planning your times for game drive, it is always advisable to plan your day ahead, so your day is at your discretion.

Maasai Mara flourishes with some breathtaking savannah views with beautiful sunsets over the horizon. If you are keen on spotting those big-maned lions, we suggest you head out to the park at the crack of dawn before they settle into the bushes. The best option is to get a picnic breakfast to relish your meal in the middle of nowhere.

Chase the tracks of the incoming migration from Sand River going all the towards Mara river & circling through the Mara triangle returns back. Basis your time of visit, transit through the vast savannahs of Mara exploring the amazing game action whole day long.

Day 3

The Masai Mara is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and more. During the migration, the Mara becomes a hub of activity as predators take advantage of the abundance of prey. You’ll have the chance to see incredible sights like lions taking down a wildebeest or a cheetah chasing down a gazelle. If you are lucky & make it in time to the crossing points, witness the scared but not-so-scared herds of wildebeest jumping into the crocodile infested Mara river making run for life.

In addition to game drives, you can also participate in guided walks, hot air balloon rides, and sundowner experience. Enjoy unlimited game drives and spend some time visiting the nearby Masai village. This experience will give you a deeper appreciation for the region and its people, and a more immersive wildlife experience.

Experience the amazing Kenyan hospitality in the natural setting of the Basecamp Mara over three days relishing delicious meals, indulging in the local projects handled by the camp & visiting the museum to offer fair deal of information about this wonderland & it’s people.

Day 4

After a slow morning & relishing a hearty breakfast, it’s time to head out to Nairobi. Do a short game drive before you venture out of the national park. You can never get enough of watching the wild in their habitat & it’s never like you have seen it all.

Arrive in Nairobi in time and if time is by your side, you can visit the Giraffe center, to feed the tallest mammals & meet them up close. Get dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport as we bid our goodbyes in the hope of meeting you again.
